June 2-3 Shingo Build Excellence Workshop
The Build Excellence Workshop features Wente Vineyards as one of the host sites for a virtual Go & Observe. This is an HKPO exclusive; no other Shingo affiliate has access to this exemplary example of the Shingo Model. The second Go & Observe site is Signs.com which has done a complete business pivot during COVID-19. Add two expert facilitators - Dr. Gerhard Plenert, former director of executive education at the Shingo Institute, and Drew Butler, Senior Shingo Examiner, Licensed Affiliate and Certified Facilitator – and this promises to be a Shingo workshop like no other.
June 17-18 Shingo Systems Virtual Design Workshop
Join former Shingo Institute director of Executive Education Dr. Gerhard Plenert for a two-day workshop that integrates classroom and on-site experiences at a host facility to build upon the knowledge and experience gained in the DISCOVER workshop. The Virtual Design Workshop focuses on the SYSTEMS and TOOLS diamonds in the Shingo Model and begins by explaining that all work in an organization is the outcome of a system.
Lunch & Learn: Lean from the Front Lines, Fridays in June
“Shingopalooza” continues Friday, June 5 from 12-1pm EST, and every Friday of the month with a free Lunch & Learn Series “Lean from the Front Lines.” Each week Drew Butler, Senior Shingo Examiner, Licensed Affiliate and Certified Facilitator, and Tom DeForge, Principal Partner of Lean Value Solutions International, will tackle the obstacles and challenges of changing over to a Lean/Operational Excellence model. Drew & Tom will discuss real life examples, what they learned from their Japanese sensei’s, and hopefully have a few laughs along the way.
Join them via Zoom every Friday in June from 12-1pm EST
